July 2015 marked the one year anniversary of the commissioning of the HAF Wind Project in West Lincoln.  This project has been a complete success thanks to the efforts of all partners especially Tom Rankin whos company did such an excellent job in constructing this project.  Vestas turbines have performed as expected and production has exceeded our expectations.

This is a special project in that it is owned by local people to benefit local people.  The power produced goes into the local distribution system of Niagara Peninsula Energy where it is used by residents and business serviced by this utility.  This project will significantly reduce the carbon footprint of West Lincoln.
